Reporter Mathias Boelinger, from an interview in Zhengzhou, China, and related explanations later posted on Twitter, made people unable to believe the authenticity of the German news. The people of Zhengzhou did not beat or insult the reporter Mathias Boelinger. The people did not agree to the interview, and said they did not. Like to be interviewed, no one likes to be photographed on the Internet without their consent, and then processed into an unreal video screen with an insulting commentary. In all countries, there are portrait rights and reputation rights, and people should be asked about their intentions when shooting videos, otherwise these rights will be violated. In the face of the floods, after the people were interviewed, they saw that what they said had been processed into malicious discrimination against China. How sad it would be. This is what the BBC has done. I hope DW reporter mathias boelinger can see it. It is the same as the one written.

The DW and BBC reporters can stay in Germany, not neccesariely in China since their "reports" are novel writing not fact reflect.

One in a thousand years rainfall? There was flooding last year affecting 38 million Chinese. Anybody verify the rainfall or is this CCP blaming nature? All those reservoirs are multiplying the flood potential of normal rain. This flooding looks like one in every two years now in China.

Now I understand that why your situation happens. ~ Anger would be pressed back ~ by your imagination as you cannot find by your camera . All Zhengzhou citizens are busy getting back to normal life. Anger would not help it. Shame on you!

As a human being, I can understand the psychology of the American ruling class towards China, and I understand why they show such animalism.
Faced with the rise of China, the US government is under pressure, and no one wants to have a competitive partner around him. From this perspective, we can understand the bestial performance of the US government.

From another perspective, the bestiality of the U.S. government must be restricted. If it is not restricted, if the Sino-U.S. conflict continues to amplify, it will be very dangerous for both the U.S. and China.

You, the United States can go to war with China in the most extreme circumstances. But what is the end of the war? You, the United States, can't even handle Afghanistan and Iraq, and certainly not even China.
Then the end of the war is that China loses and both loses. You have suppressed China's development, but you also end up with the United States, and you can't even maintain the number one position.

At that time, Japan will immediately liquidate the crimes against Japan's nuclear attack.

At that time, Europe will immediately counterattack the United States, Europe will become the world's hegemon, and the euro will become the world's currency.

At that time, Russia will have the strongest strategic power in the world.

Your United States will be a third-rate when the time comes. The capitalists will lose their wealth, most of the upper class will lose their lives, and the real estate of the middle class will be zero.

Therefore, the conclusion is that China and the United States are engaged in limited competition, and each has its own destiny.

I have seen enough of this daily vilification of China. I've lived in China for 16 years, and as a Chinese, I can't possibly not know what China is like. Are liberal democratic journalists from the West really covering the real China? Finally, denigrating China without showing the facts is still a politically correct western ideology.

Actually,I think Mr.reporter has only one glitch here, you don't have to say "untransparent",because even the government cannot count all of the dead bodies back then when most of the tunnels are flooded, right?
As for the "pressure" part, though I hate to say it,but it's still…mostly true, there is indeed media control here.
But you can also say that "we are still waiting for more responds from the government",because they will always do something in the end, like fire a few officials when the covids were up.

Mr. Bolinger, Thanks for your report. However, I don't agree with you on "anger of the Chinese citizens" and "Chinese government pressured on public anger". I volunteered to remotely organize information of public and private shelters around Xin Xiang in Henan when the flood happened, and I witnessed how Chinese social media like wechat, weibo and bilibili … became platform where people distributed donations and helps and where people asked for helps. There was an explosion of information about the flood on these social medias. There were livestreaming and videos of the flood from individuals, private video platform and local government media, like bilibili, tiktok, 西瓜新闻 and 大象新闻. Don't underestimate the power of the Chinese populace. Medias and popular social medias actually became a platform where we normal Chinese people can voice our opinions and some of the voices have pushed forward new policies and changes in the government. If something unfair indeed happens in China, people can voice their opinions, show the evidence through social medias, and a massive Chinese populace will be on their back if what proposed is fair for them to support. There are active discussions about the cause of the Henan flood, we citizens did question it, and experts are discussing it. You can search 河南洪水原因 (cause of Henan flood)at Baidu, and it's one of the popular keywords in this main Chinese search engine. One of the reason why we Chinese are angry with Western medias' report of Chinese government's oppression of its populace is that "Come on, we Chinese citizens are not foolish or ignorant. We don't just surrender to 'control'". I have not witnessed any anger toward our government's at least within my group of volunteers who were on the ground in China. A schoolmate who studies abroad had flied back home to help with organize volunteers to distribute donations from all over China, and she was well communicated and connected with the government in order to work cooperatively. I had never heard from her any anger about the government's work on flood relief. Instead, you know how much relief and sense of security we felt when we heard that the soldiers or the firefighters had come, or the government started to distribute the massive donations in the city to more remote areas. Then, we would just back off to leave the space for their organized works. At the middle and the end of the flood relief work, we volunteers from the normal people who couldn't work on the ground would just leave the rest of the work to the government, because we knew that when the government had gained the time to organize their work, we can trust them to do a good job. You didn't report our deeply felt trust and sense of security toward our soldiers, our firefighters and other rescuers who were organized by our government. You didn't report the many many rescuers and volunteers had gone to Henan and the many many trucks of donations from all over China that had at some point cause traffic jam on the highway. Because of this massive response of the Chinese society, our social medias actually had to encourage people without professional rescuing skills to stay home to leave the traffic and space to professional rescuers.
