Chinese hackers ‘exploited five global telecom firms’

Cybersecurity researchers stated on Tuesday that Chinese language state-backed hackers had exploited the vulnerabilities of 5 international telecommunication corporations throughout southeast Asia to steal their customers’ knowledge, Bloomberg reported. Researchers from US-based safety agency Cybereason named the teams “working within the curiosity of China”: Comfortable Cell, Naikon and Group-3390. Cybereason chief Lior Div stated hackers had “the holy grail of espionage,” gaining whole management of the telecommunication networks that they had infiltrated.
