China, not South Africa or France, will function co-chair of Zambia’s new creditor committee, mentioned Finance Minister Situmbeko Musokotwane.  “It does make sense for our greatest creditor to play a number one half, to take a number one position within the proceedings,” Musokotwane instructed Bloomberg late final week. “They’re prepared to take part as a co-chair, and we welcome that as a result of it is going to enhance the probabilities of decision — them being the most important single collectors,” he added. (BLOOMBERG)
