India, the US, Japan and Australia are set to kick off the second part of this yr’s Malabar naval drills within the Bay of Bengal on October 12. The navies of the Quad nations performed the primary part of the drills close to the Pacific Ocean island of Guam from August 26 to 29. The Indian Navy will take part within the second part with INS Ranvijay, INS Satpura, P-8I long-range maritime patrol plane and a submarine. Earlier, the Quad navies carried out drills in November 2020 within the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. China has been monitoring the actions of the Quad nations. Beijing has been cautious of the Quadrilateral safety dialogue that was revived in late 2017 by India, the US, Australia and Japan. Watch the total video for extra particulars.
