NATO Secretary-Normal Jens Stoltenberg defined on Friday why the navy alliance wouldn’t impose or implement a no-fly zone over Ukraine, or put troops on the bottom because the Russian assault on Ukraine continues.
“Now we have a accountability as NATO allies to stop this battle from escalating past Ukraine,” he stated, including that the one approach NATO may implement a no-fly zone is to ship NATO fighter planes into Ukrainian airspace and “impose that no-fly zone by capturing down Russian planes.”
He stated doing so may finish in a “full-fledged battle in Europe.”
Stoltenberg stated NATO would proceed to step up its help of Ukraine, impose heavy sanctions and name for a diplomatic finish to the battle, however wouldn’t ship troops into Ukraine.
