A descendant of Russia’s former imperial household wed his Italian bride on Friday, within the first royal wedding ceremony on Russian soil in additional than a century.
Grand Duke George Mikhailovich Romanov married Victoria Romanovna Bettarini in a ceremony at St. Isaac’s Cathedral, within the former imperial capital of St. Petersburg.
Mikhailovich Romanov’s great-grandfather, Grand Duke Kirill Vladimirovich, fled Russia in the course of the 1917 Bolshevik revolution, escaping to Finland and later relocating his household to Western Europe.
Russia’s final Tsar, Nicholas II, his spouse and 5 kids have been murdered by a revolutionary firing squad in July 1918.

Best Wishes from the US! A reminder to others: we dont need to DESTROY our past to make changes for the future! We need that lesson in my own county!
It’s wonderful seeing people find their “happily ever after” love in a big world where it’s not a guarantee you’ll find them. Hope their life together is everything they hope it will be and more!
Also, everyone looks fabulous!
May God be praised.
He is not a Russian tzar.
The Romanovs were over thrown, technically the descendants are no longer royalty.
chubby couple 😊
Что-то купеческое есть во всем этом – подлинная традиция утеряна.
I keep telling people Russia has a very powerful lowkey monarchy now people see I know what im talking about😎
don't stay there to long Putin may think you want to overthought him and he will come and cut your heads off
It's unbelievable to see people how much they love being slaves to imperialism and religion. I feel sorry for patriots who sacrificed their lives for those basters .
Виктория Романовна счастлива.
Дай Бог Вам деточек.
The bride is very very beautiful I must say
May God bless them! Best wishes to the happy couple! 🙂

Кто эти люди – то ???
So the Orthodox Church it's pressuring Putin to put innocent, people in jail for preaching the Truth about the True God Jehova, and they stabbed President Putin in the back ,by trying to get rid of Putin ,by trying to put back Tsars on the Throne ?
Omg..Global News, check your information before publishing 🤦🏻 I’m from Russia and they are not from Romanov’s family at all. They just bought these “titles”…
Congratulations and many blessings to the newly wed royals. Faith in Christ of the Czars is enough to be proud of for all of their existing family members. God Bless! Romanovs cannot be erased from the minds of human race.
Hold on to history! It helps build a better future!
The family should be reinstated as a symbol of russian pride and tradition

Our history should not be a point of shame. History is something to learn from. It's a story
