Funding the overthrow of Taiwan, another great idea from Warren Buffett's team, very woke of them. Guess throwing Hong Kong under the bus wasn't enough.
There is always a reason when they are on sale. Be careful.
The problem is you don't own the stock. China can pull the rug out from you at any time. You can be left with nothing. There are a lot of American stocks that are on sale.
Shorts are shaking
cocky lady
Patience pays off in investing. BABA is going to 500 in the next couple of years.
Doesn't mean anything that's like spending $40 bucks for what he has 😂 Will be the same one to sell it back to you when your buying it after him. Show me an investment of over $250 million with the money he has to mean something. He may be looking for a quick flip he knows markets are in bubble mania.
I DONT TRUST A WORD THAT COMES OUT OF CHAMATH'S MOUTH. NOT A SINGLE F@CKING WORD.
It’s not just Charlie. It’s a whole slew of Value Investors who long term do the best. It’s Monish prabhai and Guy Spier et al.
John bogle always said to not bet against America
I like the stock
BABA to the moon
BABA's last 5 year's FCF is absolutely amazing
I dont give a S*** what Chamath says. He's lying every time he opens his mouth
he is like 100 years old why is he even buying something 😀
Why is Munger investing in China 🤦♂️
kristina a baddie
Charlie doubling down with $45m, me doubling down with $4k 😂
I would never invest a dime in China. I have no idea what the hell is going on over there. I hardly understand North America in terms of valuations right now. Everything seems so skewed.
Nice work
Let's pray to the gods this works out as it should.
Lol
I woulds stay away from china
Can you denied what's intrinsic
dip is an understatement
Really China going to bankrupt recently their shipbuilding company on edge
Investors …..Get out from China🇨🇳
97 year old Charlie Munger is investing for the long term😆.
Munger bad bet
It's all comming down , sell sell sell
China , Taiwan tensions
Hitting low by 26th of Oct
When you hear Charlie Munger talk about China it is pretty clear he is a China licker. Let's hope CCP will steal his money as they did with many other American investors.
It’s crazy how market psychology works. China dips like crazy, media leads you to believe it’s a no touch danger zone. Nobody does any of their own research, then a guy like munger quietly doubles their stake. Now everybody wants to rush in.
What chamath meant there
You can invest but will never own any part of the company .. that’s China
Funny American criticizing China's "slow" growth. Americans would wet themselves having 6% growth any given day… the media in America is just completely a clown show.
Nothing more laughable on earth than white people talking about China. Thankfully it was good looking women. Nobody has a clue what they are talking about. Period.
I AM NO LONGER WAITING FOR THE GRANT LOAN BECAUSE I EARN $ 18,000 EVERY 7 DAYS RECENTLY.
1. Alibaba is a fundamentally sound company
2. It is the largest ecommerce company in China (Alibaba is the AMAZON of China)
3. China's economy is rising consistently
4. BUY THE DIP!
With cashflow like BABA's, the 2.8billion fine and the forced investment (3.1b/yr) is really just a drop in the bucket… lots of fear in the market but few look it objectively and understand how the "regulatory risks" are quite exaggerated
I thought I was watching Desperate House Wives episode 21, not financial news.
the girl in blue is good!
Something in the name Kristina!
aging well huh
How is that working out for you now Charlie after the latest crappy quarter! What are you going to do when China invades Taiwan and we delist all Chinese stocks!
What !! Do these people really believe that the Chinese government are going to say pack your toys we're going back to working the paddy fields again.
No problem me my children father my mother and my God
