There shall be no ministerial photograph ceremony on the G20 summit, as US and different international ministers refused to face subsequent to Russian International Minister Sergei Lavrov, in accordance with the Japanese Kyodo.
Earlier, CNN reported that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who flew to Bali for the G20 summit, wouldn’t take part within the conventional photograph session of international ministers due to Lavrov.
Moreover, Japanese International Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi refused to attend a welcome dinner for delegates in protest towards the presence of his Russian counterpart. The ministers boycotting the occasion didn’t stop Lavrov from holding conferences with Chinese language and Turkish International Ministers Wang Yi and Mevlut Cavusoglu on the sidelines of the summit.
